Riforma’s IBMYP Academic Support is designed for Grade 9 and Grade 10 MYP students who need structured subject support, stronger academic habits, assessment preparation, and guidance as they move closer to the IB Diploma Programme.
It is not casual tutoring. Each support plan is designed around the student’s academic needs, subject gaps, school expectations, and support frequency.
Riforma currently focuses on IBMYP Grade 9 and Grade 10.
These are important years because students are preparing for more demanding assessments, stronger subject expectations, and eventually the transition into IB Diploma subjects.
For IBMYP, Riforma offers two educator profiles:
IBMYP World School Teachers -Best suited for students who need structured MYP subject support from educators familiar with school expectations, MYP criteria, and classroom assessment patterns.
IBMYP Senior Specialists -Best suited for students who need deeper academic intervention, stronger subject strategy, multi-subject planning, or support with more demanding Grade 9–10 academic goals.
Monthly Academic Support Plans are designed for families who prefer ongoing monthly support with a lower upfront commitment. They work well for students who need a regular weekly academic rhythm.
Academic Support Cycles are prepaid support plans with a larger hour allocation and better hourly value. They are better suited for students who need structured recovery, multi-subject support, or longer-term academic planning.
The right plan depends on the student’s current academic needs.
A Light Monthly Support Plan may be suitable for a student who needs focused help in one subject.
A Core Monthly Support Plan may be better for a student who needs regular weekly support or help across up to two subjects.
An Intensive Monthly Support Plan or Academic Support Cycle may be recommended when the student needs stronger academic intervention, multi-subject support, or a more structured recovery plan.
Our Academic Advisor can help recommend the most suitable option after understanding the student’s needs.
No. Riforma is not positioned as a regular tutoring agency or tutor marketplace.
We provide a structured IBMYP Academic Support System that includes academic planning, educator matching, support coordination, progress visibility, and parent communication. Hours are only the delivery unit inside the support plan.
Riforma offers a Tutor-Fit Guarantee for new students.
If the educator is not the right fit after the first 2 academic support hours, Riforma will review the feedback and arrange the next suitable step, which may include a replacement educator.
If the replacement educator also does not work out after the next 2 academic support hours, the matter will be handled according to Riforma’s refund policy and Terms of Service.
Yes. For Grade 9 and Grade 10 students, MYP support can also include early DP readiness guidance where relevant.
This may include strengthening academic habits, improving subject foundations, identifying areas that may become challenging in DP, and helping the student approach future subject choices more confidently.
However, this is not the same as formal DP subject advising or university admissions counselling.
Riforma allows reasonable flexibility where possible. Plan changes, pauses, or adjustments depend on the student’s current support cycle, educator availability, scheduling commitments, and policy terms.
For Monthly Academic Support Plans, any cancellation or change should be requested before the next billing cycle.
