IB DP TOK Syllabus: Topics + Overview
The IB DP Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course develops students’ ability to think critically about knowledge itself—how it is formed, evaluated, shared, and questioned across different disciplines. Students explore real-world examples, examine the influence of perspectives and values, and learn to evaluate the reliability of knowledge claims. The course is taken by all IB Diploma students and contributes to the core 3 points, alongside the Extended Essay and CAS.
